About owners
School ownership is the goal of most martial art instructors. Schools are business whether they are operated as profit or non profit, and they must be run as businesses. A good instructor will not necessarily make a good school owner, and a good school owner does not have to be an good instructor if the owner has good instructors working for the school. However, if a school owner is not a good business person, the school will fail, even if it is operated as a non profit.
