Site navigation is simple once you understand how it works.
ARTICLES
Articles item on menu is starting point for article navigation. It displays article topic choices.
- Select a topic to view subtopics.
- Select a the 'About...' sliders title to open or close it.
- Select subtopic to view article list.
- Select a the 'About...' sliders title to open or close it.
- Select article to view it.
- To go back to article list or another page, use breadcrumbs or back button on browser.
- Also, may use breadcrumbs to go back to another previous page.
Sliders
Some pages have sliders, such as the ones below, with a title in a white oval. Select a slider title to open or close it.
Layouts
Main Menu
Extends across the top of the site below the logo.
- Home item. Returns to site homepage.
- ARTICLES item. Lists article topics. Starting point for article navigation.
- Site item. Lists articles that pertain to the site itself.
- Links item. Lists articles that pertain to external website links.
- TKDTutor item. Lists articles that pertain to TKDTutor, the author of the the website.
- Interaction item. Lists methods of interaction between users and TKDTutor, between users and the site, and between users.
- Font item. Allows user to change font size of the website,
- Login item. Allows authorized users to log into the website. At this time, only TKDTutor is an authorized user.
- SEARCH item. Allows visitors to search the website.
Homepage Layout
Left section
- Latest module. Lists newest articles.
- Most Read module. Lists the top five most read articles.
- Ratings and Polls module. Contains any ratings or polls that are being conducted.
Middle Section
- Content module. Display the welcome page.
- Random Quotation module. Displays a random quotation each time the home page is accessed.
- Point to Ponder module. Displays a random point to ponder.
Right Section
- Bookmark module
- Bookmark Site. Allows readers to bookmark the homepage on various social networks.
- Follow Us. Allows readers to follow TKDTutor on social networks.
- Tweets module. Displays latest TKDTutor tweets.
- Users Online module. Displays the current number of online users.
Article Page Layout
To return to a previous page
- Use the 'Return' or 'Back' button on your browser or
- Select the page on the breadcrumbs.
Left Sidebar
- Select Article. Select an article from the alphabetical list or use ARTICLES item on menu.
- Ad Module. Contains an advertisement.
Middle Content Area.
- Breadcrumbs line. Displays breadcrumbs (the hierarchical path of what is displayed in the content module). Select an item in the breadcrumb to go to it.
- Print icon. Select to print current article.
- Email icon. Select to recommend current article to a friend.
- Page list. If page list appear on right side, select an page to go to it or select 'All' to display all the pages consecutively
- Content area. Displays article content.
- Previous/Next buttons. Use to navigate the article.
- Tweet button. Allows user to post a tweet.
- G+1 button. Recommend site on Google.
- Ad Module. Contains an advertisement.
- Related Articles module. Displays any other articles that are related to current article. Select article to go to it.
- Ad Module. Contains an advertisement.
- Comments. Allows users to make comments about the current article.
Right Sidebar
- Bookmark Article. Allows readers to bookmark or share the current article.
- Ad Module. Contains an advertisement.
